Thomas Hardesty's Obituary
Thomas Frederick Hardesty, 81, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on November 30, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and adventure. Born on October 2, 1942, in Whittier, California, to Thomas Raymond Hardesty and Rosemarie Ann Malinka.
Thomas, known for his cheerful and easy-going nature, touched the lives of many with his warmth and humor. His time in the Air Force and later service in the Air National Guard spoke volumes about his dedication to serving his country. His lighthearted spirit and quick wit made him a beloved figure, as he often regaled friends and family with his jokes and infectious laughter.
A man of many passions, Thomas found solace in the great outdoors, where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. When he found time he would enjoy watching the sprint car races with his friends and family.
A social butterfly by nature, Thomas always seemed to know someone wherever he went, a testament to his affable personality and genuine interest in others. He cherished the simple joys of life, finding immense pleasure in camping with his children and sharing in the excitement of Western TV shows and OU football.
Thomas's love for tinkering with cars and bikes reflected his hands-on approach to life, as he embraced the challenge of bringing new life to old machines. His passion for these endeavors served as a reflection of his resourcefulness and creativity.
Thomas Frederick Hardesty will be dearly missed by his family, friends and loved ones.
Thomas is survived by his son Chris Hardesty and wife Kandle, daughter Tammy Chung and husband Caleb, sister Shirley Chamberlin, brother Don Hardesty and wife Kelly, granddaughter Catherine Hardesty, many nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 5-7 PM
Funeral service will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home - Chapel
