Thomas Robert Holland's Obituary
Thomas Robert (Bob) Holland passed away at the age of 88 on Saturday, August 20, 2011. He was born on September 15, 1922 in Drumright, Oklahoma to Wattie and Edith Holland. He served in the United States Army during WW II and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Engineering. He worked as an engineer for Amoco Oil Company in Texas Cty, Tulsa, Chicago and Houston. He retired in 1984 from Amoco Oil after 34 years of service. He was a loving husband to his wife, Jane, of 50 years and a wonderful father to his four sons: Tom, Ric and wife Paula, Jim and wife Patricia, and Larry and wife Bonnie. He is also survived by his many grandchildren: Shala and husband Charles Gallagher, Ashley and husband Adam Shibley, Rick and wife Kim, Steven and wife Megan, Stephanie, David, Lauren, Matt, Robby, Jake; great grandchild Charlie Gallagher; and his brother Charles. Visitation will be Tues evening August 23 from 5 to 8 pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home with service being held at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church 4250 West Houston Street, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.. Wednesday August 24, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Patrick’s episcopal Church or a charity of your choice.
