Thomas Lynn Keeter's Obituary
Thomas “Tom” Keeter was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 28, 1937 to Lewis and Virgina Keeter. He left this earth in the arms of the Lord on October 14, 2016.Tom lived life to its fullest to achieve all of the professional goals he had for himself. He started with Rainbo Baking Company as a route salesman and finished his baking career as the president of Rainbo Baking Company. He was an owner of the Tulsa Roughnecks, a professional soccer team. He finished his career in the oil and wastewater recovery business. He was always on the move for another adventure and remained optimistic until his final day, never complaining about anything. He was an avid sports fan and a passionate coach who led the Byrd Middle School Football team to three consecutive city championships. He loved the Oklahoma Sooners, St. Louis Cardinals, and the Dallas Cowboys – he thinks, “Dak should start over Romo”. He enjoyed fishing on the Illinois River and was passionate about the work of Common Grounds Ministries. Tom is survived by one sister, twelve children, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, a nephew, and a niece.A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, 6500 South 129th East Avenue Broken Arrow, OK.
