Mark – My sincere condolences to you and your family.
Peg, Linda, and Mark. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Love all three of you and keeping your close. We will see you tomorrow.
The memories are several because we had the honor to be neighbors with Tom and Peg from 1988-2009. Both were quiet, creative, and compassionate. Tom was helpful and could build items for us at moments notice. He could fix just about anything we brought his way. From building a fence- Tom being the expert with us being his assistants, to helping me transport a couch to and from my classroom at the beginning and end of each school year. Each Halloween Peg would paint pumpkins with characters on them that our son would keep until they became soggy and had to go to the curb. Tom would build a Halloween scene and Christmas scenes that Peg would paint. They were such a team who brought so much joy to our neighborhood. Sweet rest Tom. You were one-of-a-kind whom we had the privilege to get to know along with your children and grandchildren and your grand dogs!
WE MOVED NEXT TO TOM AND PEG IN 1988. WE HAD AN AUTISTIC SON THAT WAS WELCOMED AS THEIR OWN. TOM HELPED US WHEN WE ASKED FOR HELP MAKING ANYTHING WE NEEDED INCLUDING COFFINS FOR OUR DOGS AS THEY PASSED. WE WILL MISS HIM AND WILL NEVER FORGET HIM AS A PERFECT NEIGHBOR AND FRIEND.
Mark & Family: Wishing you the best as you celebrate the life of your family member. I would like to attend the funeral, but out of town on work assignment. The best to you!
Owen Family: Wishing you the best with your loss and as you celebrate the life of your loved one. My thoughts are with you. I would like to attend the funeral, but out of town with work assignment. Blessings!
My prayers are with Owen family at this time of loss.
Such a great man he was, and such an example to those around him. I will always remember him as a man who stood tall and proud, and always had a smile on his face. He was there to help if you needed, no matter what it was. He had such a warm personality and always made me feel like part of the family. I just want you all to know that you are in my prayers, and I am thinking of you all during this tough time. What a great loss, to the family and to the world, but he doesn't have to suffer through the burdens of life anymore and is standing tall once again waiting anxiously for the next time you meet.
I did not know Mr. Owen but judging by his son, Mark, and his compassionate care and respect for his father, he must have been a good man and father.
Mary, Jessica and little Brooklyn, I'm so very sorry for the loss of your grandfather. Prayers and hugs for all.
