Thomas "Tom" Vern Robertson's Obituary
Thomas Vern Robertson passed away May 22, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He was born January 25,1950 in Stillwater, Oklahoma, son of the late Jerry Leon and Margie Ann (Brush) Robertson. He attended Washington Elementary School and Sapulpa High School. He was a Boy Scout and attended the Jamboree in Valley Forge, achieving the rank of Life Scout. Tom loved music and played the coronet and french horn throughout high school and into college. He went on to earn a degree in physiology at Oklahoma State University. For over 40 years, he was an Insurance Broker and founder of Robertson & Co. LLC.
Tom was a voracious reader and was particularly fond of science fiction. He was a theoretical physics enthusiast and wrote scientific papers on quantum dark-matter and the use of “focused mass” as a possible alternative energy source. He also loved food and shared this passion with friends and family by cooking and frequenting both new and favorite restaurants.
Tom is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ginger, their son Ken and his wife Brandi and granddaughter Lillian of Tulsa, OK, sister Sandy (Mike) Pennington of Sapulpa, OK, brother John (Sue) Robertson of Shawnee, OK, brothers-in-law Scott (Kim), Clay and Phillip Harting of Stillwater, Oklahoma along with many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Join us for a Celebration of Life for Tom Robertson that will take place on Monday, June 8th, 2026, from 3 – 5 PM at Crossroads Cookery, 117 E. Dewey Ave., Sapulpa, OK. We invite you to share your stories, your smiles, and your memories as we gather to honor Tom. Feel free to bring a favorite photo or memorabilia to share. Attire is casual.
