Tillman J. Wheeler Sr.'s Obituary
Tillman Johnnie Wheeler, Sr., longtime resident of Coweta, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years. Tillman was born to Willie Bethel and Grace (Ellis) Wheeler on Monday, February 28, 1938, in the Verdigris Bottoms, of Coweta, Oklahoma. He married Willow May (Norman) Wheeler on May 13, 1983.
Tillman was a Christian, a devoted bible reader and a member of Shahan Free Will Baptist Church.
Tillman was preceded in death by one son: Tillman Johnnie Jr., a Twin Clyde and 5 sisters: Laura Mae, Laura Fay, twins (Lorene & Verlene) and Dorothy, one son-in-law Charles (Rooster) Riddle.
Tillman is survived by his wife, Willow, one step daughter: Dorthy Jean Riddle and one step son: William Thomas (Tammy) Norman. Four grandchildren: Andrew (Holly) Riddle, Sarah (Drew) Jamison, Brittany Norman and William (Jlisa) Norman Jr. Eight great-grandchildren. Anderson, Winnie, Grayson, Piper, Emily, Daven, Amyia, and Liam. One sister-in-law, Gleenda Wheeler. Five Special nieces: Diania, twins (Debra and Dori), Cathy and Juanita. One Special nephew: Robert and an array of other relatives and friends.
