Timothy Alan Dever's Obituary
It is with deepest sorrow that I’m writing this about my son Timothy Dever who passed away on March 31,2020. Tim was born on November 9 1972 in Gainesville Texas. He graduated from Whitewright High School. He attended East Texas State College in Commerce Texas studying in the fields of Graphic Design and US History. Tim was employed at Texas Instrument in Sherman prior to moving to Tulsa Oklahoma.Tim was a transplant recipient and we will always be thankful to his donor families. Tim married the love of his life Cheryl Dever on October 21, 2017. They have two boys, Isreal age 12 and Caleb age 2.Tim was an active member of New Birth Tabernacle Church in Tulsa with Pastor Lawrence Morrison. Tim served as the Sunday School superintendent, Head Usher and as a teacher to High school class.
Tim is survived by Cheryl and their two sons, his parents Vickie and John Harris of Tulsa. One sister Kimberly Harris, of Tulsa. One brother, Ben Dever in Sherman Texas. Other family includes: Kim and Joey Lancaster, Michael Dobson, and Jacqueline Smith, Katheryn and Jerry Benish, Barbara and Rex Boaz, Linda and Alan Lemmons, Donna and Bobby Connelly. Wendell and Deeann Black, Faye Skeans, Mike and Janice Black,Terry and Mark Krebs, Rose Black , Karen and Terry McKearan , Rhonda and Gary Millarr and multiple brothers and sisters in Christ. He will be greatly missed by all.
