Timothy A. Justus' Obituary
Timothy Arvil Justus, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away on April 5th, 2018 at the age of 59. He was surrounded by family and friends.Tim grew up in Henryetta, OK and graduated from Henryetta High School as salutatorian in 1977. He met the love of his life, Joy, in 1975 and has been her devoted husband since November 18th, 1978. He was an engaged and supportive father to his son, Timothy Justus Jr, and to his daughter, Victoria.Tim was a hard working man with strong ethics that he instilled in his children. He loved spending time in the woods to meditate and to hunt. He enjoyed gardening, playing guitar, tinkering, outdoor concerts, guns, cars, and walking his dog, Toby. He always had a warm smile for his friends and family, and he knew just the right way to make you feel like the most important person in the room. Tim was a loving and compassionate son, brother, uncle, husband, father, and Gramps. He adored the time he spent with his family and granddaughter Sagan…sleepovers with her were the bomb!He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John O. and Mary Justus, and Sam L. and Josie Spurlock, his father, Arvil J. Justus, mother, Jackie L. Hall, step-father, Robert N. Hall, step-sister, Lola Larney, and step-brother Boyd Hall.Tim leaves behind his beloved wife, Joy Justus; children Tim Jr., Victoria, Emma, and Kaley, and granddaughter, Sagan; siblings Joan McCullar and Don McCullar, Judy Wesson and Mac Wesson, Kathy Larbi and Khaled Larbi; step-siblings JoAnn Rocha, Mary N. Klimek and Kenneth Klimek, Glenda Mason and Sam Mason, and Lloyd Hall. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.A celebration of Tim’s life will be held on Thursday, April 12th commencing at 2:00 p.m. at Riverview Baptist Church, 13201 South Memorial Drive in Bixby, Oklahoma.
