Tom Dearman's Obituary
Tom Dearman, 60, lived a life dedicated to his Lord and family. Tom and Debbie, his wife of 36 short but full years, lived a dream. Together they set an example for their children (Todd, Jennifer and Weston) of how to live and raise their families — an example of loyalty, generosity, honesty, sacrifice, and most of all love. His grandkids adored their “Pappaw”. Tom was owner and President of Tulsa Packing Specialist, Inc. Tom Dearman was born on September 16, 1950 in Briartown, OK to W.T. and Cleta Bender Dearman and died on February 2, 2011 in Tulsa, OK , in the presence of his family. He is survived by wife Debbie, of 36 years, of Bixby; son, Todd Dearman and wife, Amber and son, Trace of Tulsa; daughter, Jennifer Gwartney and husband, Lars and daughters, Afton and Harper of Broken Arrow; son, Weston Dearman and wife, Lauren of Broken Arrow; sister, Joyce Phillips and husband, Jim of Bartlesville; sister, Billie Steele and husband, Cliff of Checotah; sister, Gina Eslick and Husband, Mark of Bristow ; sister, Karen Scanlan of Bartlesville; and brother, Tim Dearman and wife, Janis of Wagoner. He is preceded in death by parents, W.T. and Cleta Dearman; sister, Gayle Ann Dearman; and 2 grandsons, Gavin Daniel Gwartney and Isaiah Tate Gwartney. He will be greatly missed; however, as Tom often told his wife, “The best is yet to come.” We will see you again.
