Tommy Harrison, born November 26, 1940, in Altus, Oklahoma, to Joe T. and Flossye Harrison, passed away on September 27, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
A devoted Christian for over 60 years, Tommy served as a music minister for three decades and dedicated himself to guiding others as a Sunday School director and Chairman of the Deacons. His faith and passion for music touched many lives and brought joy to his community.
Professionally, Tommy was a skilled electrical engineer for Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO), where his attention to detail and organizational skills shone through. He was also known for his exceptional handyman abilities, always ready to lend a helping hand and fix anything that needed repair.
An avid golfer, Tommy enjoyed spending time on the course, where he cherished both the sport and the finesse it offered. His quiet and reserved nature belied a kind heart and a generous spirit, making a lasting impact on those who knew him.
Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, and sister Jolene Beattie
Tommy is survived by his wife Shirley Harrison, daughter Jamie Prokopova and husband Sergey Prokopov, son Mark Harrison and wife Angel, brother Richard Harrison and wife Amelia Chan, grandchildren Travis Harrison and wife Jessica, Amy Prokopov, Emma Prokopov, great-grandchildren Conor Harrison, Natalie Harrison, step-grandchildren Lacey Lorenz, Emily Moore, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 5-7 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 4, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel
Interment to follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens - Garden of Last Supper
