Tommy "Don" Meekins' Obituary
Tommy Don Meekins, 77, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma died Saturday, February 27, 2021. He was born January 14, 1944 in Wichita Falls, Texas to J.P. and Irene Meekins. He retired at age 69 as an industrial mechanic in the oil and gas industry. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, reading westerns, and camping at Ft. Gibson lake.
Don was preceded in death by both parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Peggy Meekins. He had one daughter, Kerry Lynn Garner and her family of Rudy, Arkansas. He had one sister, Nancy Biggerstaff of Marble Falls, Texas; one niece Janet Soefje and her family of Leesville, Texas, and one nephew, Joel Biggerstaff and his family of Marble Falls, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 3 pm - 5pm on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
Services will take place at 3 pm on Monday, March 8, 2021 at the Floral Haven Chapel.
Guests are welcome to join at the reception at the Family Center before the service from 1 pm - 3pm for light refreshments.
