Tracy Patricia Gaylor's Obituary
Tracy Patricia Gilliss Gaylor, age 64, of Claremore, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at home on March 4, 2026. She was born on December 5, 1961, in Norfolk, Virginia, to James and Patricia Gilliss.
Tracy dedicated her life to caring for others. After graduating from TJC with her nursing degree, she served as a Registered Nurse for more than 35 years. Throughout her career, she was known for her compassion, kindness, and strong work ethic. Nursing was more than a profession to Tracy-it was her calling, and she touched countless lives through her care and dedication.
She was a devoted wife to her husband, Michael Gaylor, and a loving mother to her three children: Bryan Gaylor, Joel Gaylor, and Kimberly Howard. Tracy was also a proud and deeply involved grandmother. She treasured time with her grandchildren and especially loved watching them play sports and cheering them on from the sidelines.
Tracy enjoyed the simple joys of life. She loved fishing, cooking meals for her family, and spending time reading. Above all, she was a woman of faith and a believer in Christ, living her life with compassion and generosity toward others.
Those who knew Tracy will remember her as someone who truly cared for people and was always willing to help anyone in need. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Gaylor; her parents, James and Patricia Gilliss; her brother, Jason Gilliss (Melinda); her sister, Jennifer Nitz (Larry); her children, Bryan Gaylor (Faith), Joel Gaylor (Jessica), and Kimberly Howard (Dustin); and her eight cherished grandchildren: Benjamin, Kindley, Samuel, and Leah (children of Bryan and Faith); Phoebe and Graham (children of Joel and Jessica); and Landyn and Addilynn (children of Kimberly and Dustin).
A funeral service will be held on March 12, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Floral Haven. Tracy will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, strength, and loving spirit will live on in the many lives she touched.
