When I think back to my childhood, my friend Tracy immediately comes to mind. We played countless hours of Barbies in her room, did a million cartwheels in her yard, rode bikes all over the neighborhood and walked together to Henthorne Park pool. She was a bit older than me, always so beautiful and I looked up to her. She and I lost touch after our early teens and we hadn't spoken in over 35 years but I would think of her on occasion. About a year ago, I found her on Facebook only to discover she had been battling cancer for several years. We caught up and promised we'd get together in person when her health allowed, unfortunately that day never came. May you rest in peace Tracy. Sending prayers to her family and friends.
