Travis Sanders, age 40, of McAlester, Oklahoma, passed from this life Saturday, December 10, 2022 in McAlester. Travis Kent Sanders was born June 11, 1982, to Rodney Sanders and Jan (Snow) Sanders in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Travis never met a stranger. He will be known for his outgoing personality and his laughter. He will be missed by his parents: Jan and Fred Schilling and Rodney and Carol Sanders; sister: Kasha (Sanders) Bopp; step-siblings: Jerry and Shonda Vest, Larry and Melissa Vest, Jamie and Rusty Bivin, Gretchen and Tim Pratt, Brad and Kelly Schilling, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and extended family and many, many friends.
Visitation will be held 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Floral Haven Funeral Home,
6500 S 129th E Avenue, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM, Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Floral Haven Family Center, 6420 S 129th E Avenue, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Instead of flowers, donations in Travis's name and honor can be made to the McAlester Humane Society, McAlester, Oklahoma.
