Trina Renee Parsons' Obituary
Trina Renee Parsons, 58, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026. She was born on April 22, 1967, in Tulsa to Phillips Ellis Lobaugh and Betty Jeane (Montgomery) Lobaugh. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering love.
Throughout her life, Trina worked in a variety of roles that reflected her dedication to serving others, including Eastwood Baptist Church, Oklahoma Surgical Hospital, and most recently at Kaiser Francis Oil company. No matter what the role was, Trina was passionate about serving the people around her.
Trina’s relationship with God was central to her life, shaping her compassion, her resilience, and the way she cared for others. Her church families were precious to her, especially the communities at her home church of Eastwood Baptist and later First Baptist Tulsa, where she served in the nursery ministry.
She lived with a passion for family, cooking, traveling, and photography, embracing the simple joys that made life meaningful. Whether she was preparing a meal, exploring new places, or capturing moments behind a camera, Trina brought love, joy and gratitude to everything she did.
Trina is survived by her loving husband of 13 years, Roger Parsons; her mother, Betty Lobaugh of Tulsa; her older brother, Richey Lobaugh of Owasso and his wife Alisa and daughter Addison, her younger brother, Steven Lobaugh of Okmulgee and his wife Joanna and two sons Chris and Caleb. And a large extended family that meant the world to her. Each of them carries a part of her heart and will continue to honor her memory through the love she shared with them.
Those who knew Trina will remember her for her joyful heart, wonderful smile, and quiet spirit. Those who knew her best knew her love of Mexican Coke and her strong opinions. Trina was Roger’s constant companion and truly his better half. She offered him love, guidance, and wisdom that will never be replaced. She was a constant source of encouragement for her husband.
Trina’s memory will be held close by all who loved her, and her influence will continue to echo through the countless moments she made better simply by being herself. She will be profoundly missed and forever cherished.
A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, February 3rd at 1:30 PM at First Baptist Tulsa. A public viewing will be held at Floral Haven Funeral home in Broken Arrow on Monday, February 2nd from 4-7.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
