She was a great teacher a great friend and a caring person
I’m thankful today God brought Trudy Garrett into my journey of life. We sat on the same pew and shared many an after church meal together.I teach Senior adult women so didn’t really have a connection to women my own age or younger but through a mutual friend I was invited to all of Trudy’s SS fellowships and what great times we had together!! Trudy was in my small discipleship group , where we learned the TAPP method to better understand the context of scripture and become better disciplers to others. She also was in my Bunco group
Once a month I usually drove and she was always in front seat with me cause she gets car sick. We also were in a Sunday night life group together did Bible studies and took a trip to Branson together. Also my friend Doreen and I started a monthly get together for women multigenerational group .18-90 called First Friday Friends Trudy and Darla her close friend loved FFF and I’ll never ever forget the Testimony she gave how she prayed for friends and how God answered that prayer abundantly through her teaching partners, her SS her church and FFF. To all the Garrett family her brothers and wives and nieces and nephews etc.Trudy dearly loved her family all of you I can remember her sharing about special holiday moments , new babies, prayer for health in family members and the Joy she had when she shared about you!! Yes Thank you God for bringing Trudy into my life!!Jacki Yager
I knew Trudy from church. We ran into each other often at lunch after church. Trudy and her great friend Darla Harrison would always want to stop and chat a bit. She was a good person with a big heart. She will be missed by all her friends in the Singles group at Arrow Heights Baptist Church. She is in the arms of Jesus where we long to be. If you want to know for sure that you will go to Heaven after you die, just ask Jesus to be your savior and redeemer. Repent from being proud and thinking you don't need God. Confess your sins, which means to agree with God, that you can't do this life alone and that you need Him to forgive you of sin (missing the mark). Thank Jesus for saving you. Now go get into a Bible teaching church. If you have questions, contact our staff at arrowheights.org. See you in Heaven!! Gaye and Bill Call
I taught next to Trudy at the then Central MIddle School. She was always, and I mean always, willing to help you with anything, any problem that might come up. At Central in the winter her room was the last room on the right down the hallway to the right and her room had the north facing wall and would feel the coldness of winter. I was right next door in the next room and she had the controls to the heat for both rooms, and when it got cold in her room she would crank up the heat and my room would become very warm. I would have to go next door and ask if she could turn the heat down a little bit, and as in Trudy fashion and a smile on her face she did. She did teach my children Math here Centennial. One of the best classes and teachers they had.
Trudy you will truly be missed and we love you.

She taught my children math at Centennial. She was an excellent teacher. I was so glad when my younger children got her as their math teacher because I knew they would learn a lot and enjoy her class. As a teacher myself, I have always respected her. She will be greatly missed.
Dear Trudy ,
I never got to tell you my feelings. My feelings started for you as soon as you walked through the door. together forever Trudy. Even thought it was never real we are always together
I remember spending time with family during summer breaks and riding horses when we were kids. It is hard to believe you are gone. Heaven gained a sweet and kind angel. I am so proud to have called you my cousin. You will be missed, till we meet again. <3
Trudy was a wonderful friend to teach with starting at Central and our time at Centennial. We were across the hall from each other for years and had many great talks and laughs together. She was so dedicated to her students and had a true love for teaching. Her faith was always a huge part of her life and was a bright spot for all of us that spent time with her. Trudy you were one of the best and I will always appreciate that you were part of my life.
