Tyrica Dawn Vaughn, 44, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on May 26, 2026, at 1:26 PM. She was born on November 2, 1981, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Terry Vaughn and Nathaniel Garrett.
Tyrica was a proud graduate, earning her high school diploma and completing technical school. She was a woman of many talents — she loved to draw, design, dance, sing, and bring joy to those around her. Her laughter was infectious, her creativity boundless, and her heart deeply rooted in her Christian faith.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Terry Vaughn and Nathaniel Garrett; her brother, Gerald Garrett; and her niece, Maylianna Vaughn.
Tyrica’s memory will be cherished by her son Nathaniel Myers; older sister, Natalie Parsons; younger brother, Nathaniel Vaughn; younger sisters, Monique Rangel, Brittany Dorsey, Desiree Kramer, Kadi Alvarez, and Essence Howell; nieces, Precious, Mackinzee, Kadince, Sarah, Amillya, Reyna, Kira Jolie, Harper, Elisha, Ryliegh, and Kyliegh; nephews, Blake, Braxtyn Cordae, Tallen, Tristyn, and Hunter; great-nephew, Amir; and great-niece, Tinsley.
A celebration of Tyrica’s life will be held on Saturday, June 6th at 3:00 PM (location to be determined). Friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the beautiful soul she was.
