Uriel "Tiny" Elray Brown Jr's Obituary
Our sweet baby brother, Uriel "Tiny" Brown, was 53 years old when he left us, and our hearts feel shattered. He was a guy who loved fishing, dogs, and cooking, (and of course eating) nothing made him happier than spending time doing those things. And if you knew him, you knew he had the silliest sense of humor and could make you giggle with the dumbest dad jokes, even when you didn’t want to laugh. He worked like a machine, giving everything he had, and he could charm anyone he met—there was just something about him, like lightning in a bottle. Tiny was special that way. Being the baby of our family, he loved mom more than anything, and after she passed, he really lost his tether. It’s hard to imagine life without his goofy smile and big heart. He leaves behind his wife Katie Brown, his dog Trouble and his beloved cat Tom, who he had extensive conversations with. His oldest brother, Anthony “Tony” Brown (wife Carol), sister Tonya Miller (husband Derold), brother Mike Griffith (wife Rhonda), sister Shauna Adkins (husband Glen), tons of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His father Uriel “Brownie” Brown and mother, Virginia Brown are reunited with him in heaven. He and his dad are probably doing that silly backwards letter talk that they learned on Hee-Haw and perfected as they yelled at each other late into the night and made everyone giggle hysterically at their corny jokes. We loved him so much—his humor, his kindness, and the way he made everything feel lighter.
We’ll hold onto those memories forever, and he will always be missed more than words can say.
Rest easy, little brother. We love you.
