Val and I worked together at BATC and became good friends, sharing experiences hunting together, shooting, and enjoying some really good scotch and bourbon. He was a good shot and I always enjoyed our time together. He was the consummate host and he enjoyed entertaining. His family was his light in life and his friends came only a close second and his dogs somewhere in the middle! Fair winds and following seas, my friend!
