I wish I’d had an opportunity to meet Valerie in person before she passed. Her father Nick was my cousin, and we lived far apart. Valerie was such a beautiful soul, inside and out. She showed us how to live and die with grace and dignity. Prayers for strength for James and Ayden and the rest of the family and friends.
