Valerie Anne “Cawood” Thomas, 67, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2010 in Tulsa, OK. She was born January 21, 1943 in Highgate, London England. Preceded in death by her mother, Ivy Maude McCafferty of England, one brother Tim Cawood of England and her first grandson Johnny Lee Richeson, Jr. Survived by her husband of 46 years, Arnold Lee Thomas; four children, Dean Arnold Thomas of Lowell, AR, Tina Anne Alderson and husband of Fayetteville, AR, Wayne Alan Thomas and wife of Monte Ne, AR and Carole Lynn Frazey and husband of Owasso, OK.; six grandchildren, Amanda Thomas, Eric Thomas, Aaron Alderson, Miranda Maddux, Hayley Maddux and Emily Anne Maddux; mother-in-law, Margaret Estelle Thomas of Collinsville, OK.; in-laws, Mike and Debbie of Oregon, Pat and Marsha Thomas of OK, Charlie and Linda Thomas of OK, Cliff and Katie Thomas of Virginia and Susan O’Kelly of OK; many nieces and nephews; cousin, Diane Rooni of Ewen, MI. Her family in England, aunt, Jean Raymen, uncle, Alec Raymen, half brothers, Terry Robert and Andrew McCafferty, half sister, Lynn McCafferty, aunt, Mary Hedges and cousin, Josie Lynch, friend, Mary Ferguson, cousins, Alf and Doreen Kempster. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 12:30 pm, Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
