Velma Mae Lawrence MooreBorn October 29, 1939 in Bigflatt, ArkansasA loving sister, wife, mother, and grandmotherShe enjoyed cooking on the holidays making different foods and sharing with her friends.Moms favorite food was knotty pine BBQ, homemade macaroni salad, sweet potato’s, ramen noodles, and jalapeno cheetos. She enjoyed watching Bob Ross painting, This old house, travel channel, cooking shows, and Americas got talent.Velma enjoyed doing family fishing trips in the big rig seeing the country and taking pictures. She liked collecting holiday clocks, holiday barbies and glass angels. She loved apricot fried pies and talking on the phone with family and close friends. Velma loved a family get together with her brothers and family. They would sing and play the guitars, and have a good time.She worked hard and long hours at the family owned Security Company.Velma worked at The City of Tulsa for 25 years as a Crossing Guard at Columbia Elementary School. She saw many kids come and go. She would get visits from some kids that had moved on and they would stop and give her a hug.Velma is survived by her husband, James Moore; two sons, Dennis and Joey; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren, Eddie Moore, Jessica Moore, Brandon Moore,
