Vera Mae Belcher, 90, passed from this life on February 2, 2014 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Vera was born on March 4, 1923 in Meno, Oklahoma to William Elmer and Willia Gertrude (Johns) Webb. She met and married James “Jim” W. Belcher and shared many memorable years until his passing. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Vaughn; grandsons, Mike Belcher and Steven Vaughn; parents; 2 sisters, and 5 brothers. Vera was a very loyal Sears employee and was very proud of her job. She was a Custom Design Drapery Consultant for Sears for many years. She is survived by son, Jim Belcher and wife, Janet; 3 grandchildren, Debbie Rowland and husband, Don; Larry Vaughn and wife, Nola Faye, and Donna Belcher; 7 great grandchildren, Chris and Brandon Moore, Zane and Parker Rowland, Cheryl Sabala and husband, Chris, Sherri Baker and husband, Tim, and Brionna Belcher; 9 great great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Kyler, Peyton, Tyler, Hunter, Conner, and Kaylee Moore, Chase Sabala, and Emily Baker; and sister, Lucille Phares. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 5th from 2:00-8:00 PM and Thursday, February 6th from 8:30 AM-8:00PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, February 7, 2014 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
