Vera Elizabeth Crosby, beloved wife, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully on February 29, 2024, at the age of 99. Born on December 7, 1924, Vera lived a life filled with love, laughter, and warmth. She was known for her exceptional skills as a seamstress, her dedication to her family as a homemaker, and her passion for culinary delights, especially her homemade peanut brittle and indulgence in chocolate.
Vera's kindness and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her. Her nurturing spirit created a welcoming home where family and friends gathered to share in her delicious treats and cherished moments. Her legacy of love and compassion will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Vera is survived by her devoted by her sister Efama Dewitt of Grove, Oklahoma; nephews Jim McGhee, Jerry McGhee, and Pat McGinley; and Orville Alberty; and nieces Sandi Martin and Debbie Catalena; along with a host of other family and friends that will forever miss and love her.
