Verba Jean Gibbs was born December 1, 1937 in Fayetteville, Arkansas and passed away November 18, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Verba. Verba was a friendly, caring people person who would do anything for anyone. She was always friendly and kind to everyone she met. When Verba was younger she did modeling. She had the opportunity to move to West Palm Beach and work at a very exclusive restaurant as a waitress. Eventually Verba would open her own sucessful janitorial business. When Verba wasn’t working she enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and even had opportunities to visit places like Rome, Israel and Hawaii. Verba’s absolute favorite thing was her love for music. Her favorite music was Gospel and she sang with the church every opportunity she had. Verba was a classy lady with a great mind and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Verba is preceded in passing by her son, Douglas Frisbie. She is survived by her grandchildren, Ian Frisbie, Grant Frisbie, Tim Frisbie and Amanda Frisbie; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Carlene Evens and her husband Arlie; 2 nieces and 1 nephew; Aunt LaVoyce McQueen and her sons Virdon McQueen and Claren McQueen and numerous other family members and friends.
