Vicki Dene (Hopper) Roberts' Obituary
Vicki Dene (Hopper) Roberts, age 62, died on November 1, 2024, at St. John’s hospital in Broken Arrow, OK due to complications of diabetes. She was born on December 9, 1961, at St. John’s hospital in Tulsa, OK. She was preceded in death by Arlin Lucene Hopper (father), Norma Lee Dean Sequichie (mother), Barbara Jumper (mother-in-law), Sylvia and Beulah Hopper (grandparents) and Helen Becker (grandmother). She is survived by Elizabeth Jumper (wife), Susan (Hopper) and Chuck Oliver (sister and brother-in-law), Caitlyn Holley (niece), George Sequichie (stepfather), Ray Jumper (father-in-law) and numerous other family members.
She attended Broken Arrow High School and graduated in 1980 where she was a member of the state championship softball team, and also participated in basketball, volleyball and choir. Upon graduation, she attended Tulsa Junior College.
She retired from St. John’s Hospital (Broken Arrow, OK) in 2022 where she was the Director of Environmental Services.
In retirement, she enjoyed camping with Liz and Daisy (pet Chihuahua) and was an amazing cook. Above all, she cherished her loved ones. She was always there for anyone in need and many times opened the family home to those in transition. She continually offered love, counsel and support to those close to her. Her humor was outrageous, and her laughter was contagious. She was truly unique and accepted all where they were as they were.
Celebration of Life to be held on December 14, 2024, at the Willow Creek Mansion, 1004 S. Main St., Broken Arrow, OK 74012 at 11:00 a.m.
