Victor Valentine Carpenter's Obituary
Victor Valentine Carpenter, 63, died May 24, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma after a long battle with illness. He will be remembered as a man who made friends with every person he met, and always had a joke to tell. Born to Philip and Mary Carpenter, Victor started his life in La Marque, TX on May 31, 1952. He joined the United States Army in 1969. After a tour of duty in Korea, Victor returned home and began a cabinet making business which he continued until his retirement in 2010. He is survived by his wife Janet Carpenter, two children daughter Katie Gillett and her spouse Michael, and son Riley Peterson, his grandchild Aden Gillett, his mother Mary Baucum, sister Betty Anderson and spouse Chuck, brother Phil Carpenter and wife Nita,sister in law Shirley Carpenter wife of the late Timothy Carpenter and numerous nieces and new hews. Father Phillip Carpenter, Brothers; Timothy Carpenter, and Tedford CarpenterServices will be held Monday, June 1, 2015, 2:00 p.m., at Saint Vincent’s Cathedral, 1300 Forest Ridge Bedford, TX 76022. The reception will be held immediately afterward.
