Victor Allen Whiteside's Obituary
Victor, Allen Whiteside, 91, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away March 2, 2023. Vic was born on September 19, 1931, in Manhattan, Kansas, to Fay Allen Whiteside and Doii Eckart.
Victor attended Oklahoma State University until the Army called him to serve in Germany during the Korean War. He then worked in the oil industry, staying with the same company 35 years until he retired. He loved cars and made 100’s of exquisite miniature model cars. Victor also loved to travel and try new things: white water rafting in his 50’s and jungle zip lining in his 80’s. He was a scholar and a gentleman and will be missed.
Victor was preceded in death by his parents; brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Jackie; wife, Faye Francis Archer in 1980, and wife, Norma Roberta Johnson in 2015; and stepson Tom’s wife, Cheryl Johnson.
He is survived by daughter, Teresa Trimble and husband, Terry; son Kenneth Whiteside, and wife, Diane; stepson Tom Johnson; niece Sherry Stout and husband Jim; niece Nancy Allen and husband Jim; nephew Timothy Whiteside and wife Cynthia; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM, Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Floral Haven cemetery.
