Vincent Salvatore Falzone's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Vincent (Vinny) Falzone, a Beloved Husband and Father.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vinny, who departed from this world on April 6th, 2024. Vinny left an indelible mark on the lives of all who knew him, and his absence leaves a profound void in our hearts. Born February 24, 1947 in San Cataldo, Italy, Vinny was preceded in death by his parents, Lucy and Antonio Falzone. He is survived by his wife Ramona, two sons, Garred and Vinny, and two daughters, Angelena (Angie) and Alexandra (Ali) and her husband Hunter Sanders. Vinny leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Raelyn, Kellie, and Kane. Vinny is also survived by his sister, Lena Speed, in-laws Carolyn and Don Weese, and nephew and nieces, Kirven Speed, Laura Brus, Stephanie Thomas, Stacy Summers, Shannon Edison, Jamie Rodzos, and Jennifer Hedge.
Vinny and family moved from Italy to New York when he was around 7 years old. He went on to serve as a Fire Protection Sergeant in the Air Force on U-Tapao, AF Base in Thailand. After the military, he attended Tulsa Community College. Vinny later chose to serve as a police officer, first in Glenpool and then in Jenks, Oklahoma. Later he continued his public service as a security officer for different organizations. Vinny was known for his unwavering dedication and commitment to his wife and family providing them with love, support, and guidance. Beyond his role as a husband and father, Vinny was a friend. Often known by the neighborhood kids as the “cool dad”; his warmth and humor touched the lives of many individuals.
Though Vinny may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will live on in the memories we hold dear and the love that continues to bind us together. May his soul find peace in the embrace of God, and may his memory continue to be a source of comfort and strength to all who mourn his loss. Rest in peace, Vinny. You will always be our beloved husband and father, and will live on in the hearts of those you loved.
A celebration of Vinny’s life will be held on April 22, 2024, at 12:30 at Floral Haven Funeral Home, 6500 South 129th East Avenue, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma 74012. All who wish to pay their respects and honor his memory are welcome to attend.
