Virginia Ann Block's Obituary
Virginia Ann Block, 85, of Broken Arrow passed away in her home on May 30, 2020, with her family by her side.
She was born to the late Lawrence and Marjorie Brown on August 8, 1934 in Beech Grove, Indiana. Virginia graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1953.
She married Robert Block on December 27, 1954 and together raised their two sons and two daughters.
Virginia is survived by her sister Micki Mayer of Indianapolis, sister-in-law Dawn Brown of Indianapolis. She is also survived by her son Gregory Block, son Danny Block and wife Darilyn, daughter Cathy Cram & husband Kenny of Dickenson, Texas, daughter Katy Blume and husband Doyle of Houston, TX, and daughter Karen Davis and husband, Darrick of Broken Arrow. She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Jeanette Lamb, Robert Blume, Patrick Blume, Trey Blume, Joshua Block, Jacob Block, Sarah Block, Olivia Davis, and Sidney Davis. She is survived by ten great-grandchildren: Matilda, Josiah, Willa Mae, Betty, Gloria, Oliver, Roman, Britton, Farrah and Ava. In additon to a host of nieces and nephews. Virginia was preceded by her parents, her husband Robert, her brother David Brown, sister Janice Brown, sister Marilyn Barclay, sister Theresa Auman and daughter Theodora Ann and and cousin Linda McArtor.
Virginia was an accomplished business woman and retired from Johnson & Johnson. She was knowledgeable in finance, real estate, and sales. She enjoyed travel, culture, and meeting people. Virginia was immensely proud of her family and took pride in providing advice, support, and opening her home to family, friends and strangers in need. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, resilience, and love.
