Virginia Christine Candy's Obituary
Virginia Christine Candy, 85, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed from this life on September 16, 2022 at her home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Virginia was born on September 30, 1936 in Lost City, Oklahoma to Judd and Sylvia (York) Morgan and resided in Hulbert, Oklahoma until she married John W. Candy, Sr. on April 8, 1959 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Virginia worked the majority of her life in public as a waitress, cashier and retail associate. She always cared about her customers and would get to know them well through conversation and deeds. She was also a loving mother of four boys and grandmother of three. She is survived by her four sons, John Candy, Jr. and wife Adriana, Clint Candy, Randy Candy and wife Lisa and James Candy. Her grandchildren are Jennifer Candy, Jeremy Candy and Jordan Candy and her brothers are Darrell and Butch Morgan. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, John William Candy, Sr; Her parents Judd and Sylvia Morgan and her siblings Pat Brave, Ronald Morgan, Donald Dean Morgan and Kay Ballou. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 10:00 AM in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with interment to follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
