Virginia T Londagin's Obituary
Virginia T. Londagin 'Ginny' LONDAGIN ' Virginia T., went home to be with our Lord, July 16, 2012, at the age of 83 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Virginia was born in Minot, N.D. on May 28, 1929 to Brady and Selma Thomas. The family later settled in Colcord, Oklahoma where Virginia graduated from high school and married Walter Londagin, Jr. on May 8, 1947. Virginia worked for over thirty years as a hair dresser owning her own beauty salon, Sassie Lassie, in East Tulsa for many years and finishing out her career at The Glitz Salon in mid-town. Prior to moving to assisted living at the Villages, Virginia attended Beaver Street Baptist Church in Jenks, Oklahoma. Virginia will be missed dearly and was a much loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She is survived by her daughters and their families as follows: Pat Perry of Broken Arrow, Paula Brumble and her husband Danny of Tulsa, and Mickie Smith and her husband Randy of Tulsa. Virginia also was blessed with eight grandchildren who will miss her always. They are Amber Kimball and her husband Christian, Clint Brumble and his wife Holly, Kyle Brumble and his wife Callie, Curtis Brumble, Ryan Smith and his wife Sarah, Jess Smith and his wife Sara, Alandra Perry and Summer Perry. Virginia was also great-grandmother to 14 great-grandchildren who she adored and who gave her much joy and pride. Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with the family receiving friends from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Tuesday, July 17, 2012, Floral Haven Funeral Home, Broken Arrow. Funeral Service will be 12:30 pm, Wednesday, July 18, 2012, Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Arrow. Interment will be at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow.
