Virginia Ruth Pearce's Obituary
Virginia Pearce, a resident of Coweta, passed away on February 15, 2017 at the age of 82. She was born on August 20, 1934 in Broken Arrow, OKlahoma to Sylvester and Effie Creekmore. She met Edward Frank Pearce while working at a local carhop, they were married January 9, 1952. They were married until Edward’s passing on February 9, 1983. Virginia enjoyed the outdoors, especially if it involved fishing or gardening. She also found joy in antique shopping, quilting, and spending time with her beloved pets.Virginia Pearce was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Pearce; her parents, Sylvester and Effie Creekmoore; her five brothers, Alfred, Johnny, Olen, Leonard, and Willis Creekmore; her three sisters, Jewel Corp, Twyla Dardene, and Elizabeth Mullens; and her son-in-law, Clarke Hodson.She is survived by her son, Edward Gene Pearce and his wife, Margaret Pearce of Coweta; daughter, Marla Gail Boles, and her husband Steve of Stillwater; daughter, Debra Lynn Hodson of Stillwater; daughter, Karrie Ann Burks of Bartlesville; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.Graveside services will be held at Floral Haven Cemetery on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 12:00 p.m.
