Virginia Cheryl “Ginger” Pollock
August 8, 1942 – September 28, 2025
Virginia Cheryl Pollock, lovingly known as Ginger, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on August 8, 1942, Ginger lived a life full of compassion, creativity, and joy.
Ginger will be remembered most for her deep love of movies, especially the Star Wars saga, Transformers, and the Jurassic Park series. Her passion for storytelling and adventure was evident in the way she shared these films with those she loved.
In her younger years, Ginger found joy in crocheting, creating beautiful hats for cancer patients—a testament to her generous spirit. She also cherished time spent at the lake, fishing and enjoying the peaceful rhythm of nature.
A devoted caregiver, Ginger served as a Registered Nurse with unwavering dedication. Her nurturing heart extended far beyond her professional life, touching the lives of family, friends, and anyone in need of comfort or support.
Ginger is now reunited with her beloved parents, Lloyd Charles Nowotny and Katherine Elizabeth (Brakefield) Nowotny, and her brother David Nowotny.
