Schuering, Virginia Gloria's Obituary
Virginia Gloria Lehmann Schuering was born on July 28, 1931, in Chicago, Illinois. She passed peacefully in her sleep on June 22, 2026, at the age of 94, surrounded by the love and presence of her family.
Virginia lived a life marked by quiet devotion, selfless service, and unwavering faith. She first dedicated herself to her roles as a loving wife and mother before pursuing her education in nursing. After graduating from the The University of Tulsa as a Registered Nurse, she devoted herself to caring for others and serving those in need.
When her husband, Roger C. Schuering, founded Schuering Enterprises, Inc., a petroleum-related company, Virginia worked faithfully alongside him, helping manage the office and keeping the business running smoothly. Following Roger's passing, she continued her life of service as a church secretary, where she became deeply committed to preserving and promoting the Traditional Latin Mass in Oklahoma.
Virginia is remembered as a matriarch of the Traditional Catholic movement in Tulsa. Through her dedication and the efforts of those who stood beside her more than 45 years ago, Most Precious Blood Parish was established. Her faith remained the cornerstone of her life, and in her later years she devoted herself daily to prayer for her church, her family, and all those in need of God's grace and comfort.
Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roger C. Schuering; her son, Roger Paul Schuering; and her grandsons, Joshua Michael Sloan and Evan Paul Schuering.
She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Vienna Schuering and her husband Rod Kendrick, Sylvia Sloan, Emilee Unger and her husband, Albert, and Lorraine Seawright and her husband, Dale; as well as her daughter-in-law, Anna Marie Schuering.
She also leaves behind a cherished legacy through her grandchildren: April, Matthew, David, James, Roger, Daniel, Hannah, Grayson, Madeline, Christian, Jessica, and Virginia.
Her memory will continue to live on through her great-grandchildren: Leia, Mara Jade, Finley, Michael, Anderson, Trayven, Severin, Kane, Ashton, Daniel, Dax, Alizae, Airiana, Avery, Lucille, Genicey, Cade, and Hailey.
Virginia's life was a testament to faith, perseverance, and service. Her influence will continue to be felt through her family, her church, and the countless lives she touched through her example of steadfast devotion to God and others.
