Genevieve Vivian Franklin's Obituary
Genevieve Vivian Franklin left this earthly home to be with her Lord on June 6, 2012 in Tulsa. She was the daughter of Shell and Gypsy (Snodgrass) Fisher and was born on April 23, 1925 in Tahlequah Oklahoma. Genevieve was a homemaker most her lifetime and wore the many hats that title requires. She was welcomed just inside that eastern gate by her parents and two sisters, Bernice Garrison and Quanah Sellers, as well as other family members. Genevieve is survived by the love of her life, her husband Harry, three children and their spouses, Shirley (Jack) Whitaker, Debbie Johnston (Bill), Dean Franklin (Boni). She also has her grandchildren Jason (Becky) Franklin, Amanda Johnston, Alyssa Johnston, Kortney (Josh) Brown also surviving. There are also five great-grandchildren Brynlee Brown, Zerrik Brown, Voletta Franklin, Bernadette Franklin, and Vanessa Johnston left to carry on her wonderful legacy. Genevieve will be remembered as a lady who loved her God, and her family. Rev. Daniel Phillips will officiate her homegoing services. Pallbearers will be Josh Phillips, Nate Phillips, Ben Phillips, Adam Phillips, Arthur Smith, Luke Smith, Ben Smith, Jessie Smith, Brad LaBass. Honorary pallbearers are Jason Franklin, Josh Brown.
