Vivian Vola Tanner, 101 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 in Winterville, Georgia. She was born August 9, 1917 in Jay, Oklahoma to the late JD Brooks and Almina Foster West Brooks.Vivian was a former home economics teacher in the Tulsa Public School System.She is survived by one daughter, Teresa Kline and husband David of Winterville, GA; one son, Ron Tanner and wife Robin of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Andrea Kay, Ryan Tanner and Stephen Tanner; three great-granddaughters, Hannah Kay, Rachel Kay and Maggie Kay; and four sisters, Chris Smith, Delores Pendleton, Doris Frantz and Janice Wood. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Audie Ferman Tanner; two sisters, Margie Russell and Lula Rhoades; and one brother, JD Brooks, Jr.Visitation will be held from 4pm to 7pm on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:30pm on Saturday, September 1, 2018 in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, 6500 S. 129th East Ave., Broken Arrow, Oklahoma 74012.
