Walter Raymond Otey, 93, passed from this life on April 24, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Walter was born on January 30, 1919 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Raymond and Cora (Dent) Otey. He was a Dow Chemical Accountant. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marian Esther Otey; wife, Joyce Copeland Otey; and parents. Walter is survived by his wife, Margaret “Peggy” Otey; children, Catherine Blair and husband, Philip, Dr. John Otey and wife, Karen; step-daughter, Sandra Bach and husband, Tom; grandchildren, Trevor Blair and fiance, Megan, Peter Blair and wife, Claire, and Brandon Bach and wife, Sunny; four great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers family has asked that donations be made to John Knox Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be 2:00-9:00 PM Friday at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, April 28, 2012 at John Knox Presbyterain Church.
