Walter Presson's Obituary
Walter J Presson, 100 of Catoosa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Thursday, June 9, 2022 in Catoosa, Oklahoma with family by his side. He was born June 08 , 1922 in Fort Worth, Texas. For three years he served his country in the United States Air Force, during World War II. In 1943 he married Velma Taylor and had 3 children, Annette, Jeanette and Michael. Velma passed away in 1969 from cancer. On April 11, 1970, he married Theresa in Tulsa, Oklahoma and had one son Chris. Even though, Walter was born in Texas, he lived most of his life in Oklahoma. He was active in BSF, loved animals, gardening, plants and flowers.
Walter is survived by his wife, Theresa; his children, Annette Lunnon and husband Gary, Jeanette Murphy and husband Jimmy, Michael Presson and wife Mary Ann, and Chris Presson and wife Tracy; thirteen grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded by his parents and sister Hazel Presson.
Viewing will be held 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at the Floral Haven Visitation Suites, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Jenks Bible Church, 708 West Main Street, Jenks, Oklahoma 74037.
