Walter Orval "Scotty" Trapp's Obituary
Walter “Scotty” Trapp, age 87, was born on November 18, 1926 in Owasso, Oklahoma to his parents, George and Mattie Trapp. He attended his general education in Owasso/Tulsa, Oklahoma until his drafting in the Armed Forces in the 12th grade. Scotty worked as a computer specialist for Unisys for several years but he also specialized as a photographer with the Stars and Stripes Magazine in the Navy. He married Betty Sharp on March 28, 1957 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Scotty was involved with the Food Bank in Tulsa as well as Owasso Museum. He enjoyed photography and traveling with his wife, but in his downtime, Scotty loved to read. Scotty is survived by his siblings, brother Glenn Trapp, and sisters, Helen Yan Huss, Millie Kemp, and Sandy Garett, and his niece, Deborah Trapp. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
