The Best Dream Ever — The night after Dean had begun his new journey, I had the most amazing dream. I saw Dean walking down a beautiful flower lined path, standing straight and tall and singing to the top of his lungs. As he approached the Pearly gates you could hear the rejoicing coming from the inside. As the gates opened, I could see two large groups of people waiting. First to greet him were his Mom and Dad, after hugs and kisses, they gave him a new fishing pole and all his favorite hunting guns. Next were his grandparents Minnie and Joe, that he dearly loved. Minnie handed his a sack lunch of here wonderful fried chicken and Joe with his flowing mane of white hair and a twinkle in his eye said, "What took you so long Nick to get here?" Next was Bettye, his beloved wife of 40 years, trying to contain a very excited "Rip" and hold a brand new pair of hunting boots. Across the path were a rather rowdy bunch of men, laughing and telling sharing stories. It became obvious that this group were all his old hunting and fishing buddies, motorcycle cronies, pole buddies and other dear friends that had gone before him. They were getting a little loud with their laughter and joke telling, when a Man in a flowing white robe, I am assuming it was St. Peter, came up and ask them to tone it down and to get on with their hunting, that a huge feast was being prepared. So off they all went "Laughin and Scratchin."
