Wanda Jean Adams' Obituary
Wanda J. Adams, 88, passed away Saturday, Nov 14, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Wanda was born to Harold W. McIntyre and Beatrice (Boyden) McIntyre on April 2, 1932 in Flint, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Adams; her parents; one brother, Harold McIntyre; and one sister, Brenda Dominy.
Wanda is survived by one daughter: Debbie Potter and husband, Carl; one son: John Adams and wife, Janyce; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren that she loved very much and several nieces, nephews and a host of loving friends.
Wanda was an entrepreneur, running a private kindergarten and preschool for 15 years in Iowa Park, Texas. She then entered the Civil Service in Corpus Christi, Texas followed by several years of being the Director of the preschool at Shephard military base in Wichita Falls, Texas from which she retired. Wanda was a loving daughter, sister, niece, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was a long-time resident of the Wichita Falls, Texas area and eventually moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2004. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations me made to the American Heart Association or John 3:16 Mission in Tulsa.
