Wanda "Peat" Aloma Schafer's Obituary
Wanda “Peat” Schafer was born December 29, 1926 in Chickasha, Oklahoma and passed away April 16, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Wanda is preceded in passing by her husband, Mervin Schafer of 40 years and her son, James Thomas. Wanda is survived by her son Monte Schafer of Montgomery, Texas; brother, Thomas Rose of Chickasha, Oklahoma; grandchildren Dr. Sarah Turner of Tulsa, Amy Biegel of Austin, Texas, Monica Broughton of Houston, Texas, Justin Schafer of Lynchburg, Virginia and Kirk Schafer of Spring, Texas; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, April 20, 2015 from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Graveside service Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens
