Wanda Bruce's Obituary
Bruce, Wanda May, 91, Tulsa. Born July 1, 1931. Died Friday, January 27. She had been a Tulsa resident since 1953.
She was a loving and devoted wife and mother to six children. She worked for Byron Jackson Pump Company for 26 years before her retirement in 1996. She was a Den Mother for Boy Scouts, volunteered for her church and for Meals on Wheels, and liked watching her children and grandchildren play sports. She was an Oklahoma City Thunder fan, enjoyed bowling, softball, playing Wii bowling with her retirement community and traveling. Her legacy was to raise children who were strong, kind, independent and loving with values she shared with them.
Preceded in death by her Mother, Etta Victoria George and Father William Everett George and her grandson, Randy Malone. She is survived by her loving husband, Clarence Bruce of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her 6 children, Patricia Zellmer (Austin, TX); Richard Malone (Tulsa, OK), and Karen Orr (Tulsa, OK), Michael Malone (Plano, TX), David Cunningham (Wylie, TX) and Brian Cunningham (McKinney, TX); her 2 siblings, Loretta Sue Henry (Bakersfield, CA) and Everett Wayne George (Kilgore, TX); her grandchildren, Stefani Zellmer, Jennifer Malone, Lindsay Malone Belen, Chelsea Tucker, Sean Malone, Cassie Malone, Tori Cunningham Le Blanc, Samantha Cunningham, Kelsea Cunningham, Brandon Cunningham, Andrew Cunningham, Jesse Cunningham, Jett Cunningham, and Shelby Cunningham; her great-grandchildren, Zuzu Davis, Rosco Davis, Alexandria Cuellar, Jarrett Wilson, Jaydon Smith, Kelik Smith, Syrena Smith, Nykle Smith, Shaylah McKenzie, Lyric, Tony, Tatum Tucker, and Trace Tucker.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
