Wanda Lois Christian's Obituary
Wanda Lois Christian, a resident of Tulsa, passed away June 19, 2016 at the age of 80. She was born December 21, 1935 to Alfred Evans and Elvie Marie (Douglas) Hooper in Charleston, Arkansas. Wanda enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, going to garage sales and antique shopping but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Christian; parents, Alfred and Elvie Hooper; sister, Esther Burgess and brothers, Archie and Charles Hooper. Survivors include her 9 children, Debora Lois Suess, Bruce Alfred Christian and wife, Debbie, Catherine Kay Cannady and husband, Kevin, Phillip Dean Christian, Tony Durk Christian, Stuart Randall Christian and wife, Loretta, Stephen Paul Christian, Don Diego Christian and wife, Bonnie and Pamela Christian Woodard and husband, Jason; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Neallie Thornburg and husband, Allen and numerous other relatives. Viewing will be held Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2016 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.Honorary Pallbearers will be Stephen Christian, Don Christian, Tony Christian, Stuart Christian and Phillip Christian.
