Wanda L. Davis' Obituary
Wanda L. Hill Davis closed her eyes for a short rest and woke up in the arms of the Lord on Monday, April 23, 2018. She was born February 6, 1931 in Ft. Worth, Texas. She never retired from being a loving wife, mother and Nanny.She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jack W. Davis, her daughter, Deabe, her parents, and her brother, Gifford Hill. She is survived by her children Connie Gardner (Larry), Shari Bradley, and Jack Wayne Davis II. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren Scott Walters, Stephanie Allen (Jason), Michele Holley (Matt), William Koepp (Sarah), Ivoire Alexander (Nick) and Jessica Jones (Anna). She also leaves behind 16 great grandchildren- they all adored their Nanny. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She cherished them all.Wanda was a very accomplished artist and taught art for several years in Tulsa. She enjoyed gardening and her yard was always the prettiest yard in the neighborhood. She lived a life of devotion to her family – a legacy of love that will live on forever in the hearts of those she loved and that loved her so dearly.The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 29th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Floral Haven. Services will be held on Monday, April 30th at 10:00 am. Immediately following the service at Floral Haven, she will be laid to rest in Pryor, OK. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to Special Olympics or Susan B. Komen Foundation would be appreciated.
