Lit a candle in memory of Wanda Lee Hensley
We were neighbors with Bob and Wanda Hensley from 2/1995 until they move to Montereau. Our backyard and their backyard joined each as one be yard. We had many conversations with each of them through the years. We remember when Bob decided to plant crepe myrtle along their back property line. As these grew they became a "fence" between us. Often Bob and Don took walks together and solved the world's problems together. Lavern and Wanda chatted about recipes, grandkids, etc.We have missed them from our neighborhood and know they made wonderful friends at Montereau.Don and Lavern Love 5103 east 109th street Tulsa
It is good to know Wanda is with Bob, the love of her life. What a good time they are having. She was so good taking care of Bob in his last years. She rarely left his side. An excellent example of devotion. We will miss seeing her. She enjoyed visiting with people, laughing and talking, never wanting anyone to go. She was always interested in our kids and grandkids lives and telling us all about hers. We will miss her so much.
Very sorry about the passing of Wanda Hensley. Wanda was my sister-in-law. I made many trips to Tulsa for family visits. Wanda always was up for company and so generous to invite us to stay with them, and also to enjoy a trip to their beautiful lake house. She enjoyed giving everyone something to take with them. She loved to laugh and have fun . She will be missed. My sympathy goes out to her children and grandchildren. Thinking of you in the days ahead. Love from Aunt Helen
