Warren A Hansen's Obituary
Warren A. Hansen passed away on March 15, 2013 at the age of 90. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Betty Hansen, daughters Kathleen Hansen, Kristie (Ed) Nelson, seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents August and Blanche Hansen, step-mother Esther Hansen, sisters Blanche Phillips and Doris Ritten and son Kenneth W. Hansen.Warren proudly served his country during WWII. He was in the Battle of the Bulge and loved telling about his personal encounter with General Patton.His sense of humor delighted all those he encountered and his many friends and relatives will always remember him as a gentle man and a gentleman. He had a kind word, funny anecdote, joke or story for everyone he talked to. His life was a blessing to many and he will be remembered fondly.Warren's memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 9 on the day of his and Betty's 70th wedding anniversary. He was so looking forward to celebrating this milestone with the love of his life.The service will be at 10:00 AM at Fellowship Lutheran Church-6727 S.
