Warren Henderson's Obituary
Warren Henderson, (83) of Broken Arrow Oklahoma passed away January 3rd 2010, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Marshall Minnesota on April 5, 1926. Mr. Henderson was honorably discharged as a WWII veteran after being injured during his service to our country. Following his time in the Army Air Corp he attended Northwestern Bible College and became an Assembly of God Minister. After moving to Idaho in 1962 Henderson served as a music minister and became an instructor of auto mechanics at a local high school. Before his retirement, he taught in Idaho, Oregon and Washington. Following his teaching career he and his wife Allegra moved to Oklahoma to retire with family. Throughout their life together, they were able to travel to each of the 50 states as well as other countries. Henderson was proceeded in death by his wife of 62 years, Allegra who passed only two months ago. He was also proceeded in death by his eldest son Douglas of Tulsa. While he and Allegra will be sadly missed by their family, their presence will be felt at all future family gatherings. The surviving children are sons Ken, Terry, Steve, Rick, and Jim; and his daughters CJ (Candace), Paige, Julie, and Heidi. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 11, 2010, 12:30 p.m., Floral Haven Funeral home Chapel.
