Watie Allen Dodson's Obituary
Watie Allen Dodson, of Broken Arrow, passed away December 17, 2019 at St. John’s Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born September 6, 1942 in Broken Arrow, OK to Watie and Oneta Dodson. Allen served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a longtime member of the Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed playing guitar, camping and spending time with family. Allen was preceded in death by his wife, Sharron Dodson; his parents; and grandson, Justin Fitzpatrick. Allen is survived by 6 children, Denise Braaten(Ray) of Yukon, OK, Stephen Dodson of Broken Arrow, OK, Dave Guy(Vickie) of Moore, OK, Michelle DeMond of the home, Cecil Fitzpatrick(Amber) of Sapulpa, OK, and Dane Dodson(Holly) of Broken Arrow, OK; 9 Grandchildren, Tyler Braaten(Tonya) of Pearland, TX, Ashley Gravitt(Jeremiah) of Moore, OK, Tim Braaten(Nikki) of Yukon, OK , JD Guy(Tayler) of Mustang, OK, David Dodson(Veronica) of Tulsa, Tori Wright of Yukon, Ok, Chris Dodson(Chelsy) of Broken Arrow, OK, Chris Fitzpatrick of Sapulpa, OK, Abigayle Dodson of Broken Arrow, OK, and 10 Great Grandchildren, Ava Gravitt, Deegan Braaten, Eden Gravitt, Declan Wright, Reagan Braaten, Jensen Wright, Keragan Braaten, Wyatt Braaten, Payton Guy and Carly Dodson. Visitation will be 4 -7PM, Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Floral Haven.A Funeral Service to celebrate Allen’s life will be held at 10 AM, December 23, 2019 at BA Church of the Nazarene with interment to follow at Floral Haven.
